TryTri is a family friendly company, designed to ensure competitors and spectators alike have a great family day out. With events for first timers, those new to the sport, as well as more experienced athletes looking for a chip timed event.

Set in the centre of Basingstoke at the Leisure Park, The Basingstoke Triathlon is perfect for anyone who wants to Try a Tri with both Novice and Sprint distances available!

Swim in the shallow, beginner friendly 6 lane pool with only 4 people per lane.
You will get to swim with people of similar ability, so don’t worry about it being too intimidating!

Transition is multi-level in the main car park, making it easy for you to find your bike in a hurry.
‍
Then cycle around the Basingstoke countryside including the rural villages and roundabouts of Worting, before heading back to the leisure park grounds for the last section of your triathlon…the run!

The run is slightly hilly with one long drag down out of the leisure park and back up again, with a combination of footpaths and playing fields. With lots of opportunities for your spectators to cheer you on!

Once you have crossed through the gantry and over the finish line your bespoke medal awaits you!
