A new event to the Wessex Triathlon calendar is the Andover Tri.
Kickstart your Summer and take part in the Novice or Sprint distance Triathlon.
For those of you taking the challenge of the year and competing in the Olympic distance VLT, the Andover Tri is the perfect opportunity to step your training up a gear in preparation, and come and see the facilities at Andover leisure centre in advance.

We are registered with the IPO data protection act. All data will be stored online through password protected ActiveNetwork.
The event starts at the Andover Leisure centre, with a 200/400m pool swim. Competitors will be set off in waves according to their estimated swim times, so only 24 competitors will be in the pool at once, with no more than 4 to a lane at once.

The cycle will then take place from Andover Leisure centre to Charlton Lakeside, with the Sprint and Swicle competitors taking a different route to the novice competitors. (See race details below)
The run will then follow the same course as the Charlton Lakes Park Run, with novice competitors completing one lap and Sprint competitors completing 2 laps.

The senior race official on the day will complete a race report which will be returned to British Triathlon in accordance with set guidelines.

You will swim/cycle/run with care and attention, abiding by the normal rules of the Highway Code and remain responsible for your own property. You are in good health and have done sufficient training to safely complete the course
